Gordon and Anita Roddick, successful in achieving both commercial and social benefits in The Body Shop, joined with Swedish environment pioneers Per-Uno Alm and Kaj Embrén to establish Respect and pursue the objective of illustrating the connection between profitability, responsible operations and sustainable development.
